Privacy policy
What data ExamitPro handles and what for, in draft.
1. Who is responsible
[Pending: legal name, identification number, address and privacy contact of the entity responsible for the data.] Meanwhile, you can write to us from the Support section.
2. Data we handle
Account: your name, email and password (stored as a hash, never in readable form), or your GitHub profile if you sign in with it. Study activity: your answers, mock exams, flashcards, progress and settings. Payments: amount, currency, date, status and the provider's transaction identifier; card details are entered on the provider's page and never reach ExamitPro. Support messages and reviews you write. Technical data: your IP address for security and rate limits, and cookies needed to keep your session and language.
3. What we use it for
To give you the service (your study plan, results and history), to charge and confirm payments, to answer support requests, to keep the platform secure, and to send service emails such as password resets. We don't sell your data.
4. Who it is shared with
Only with providers that are needed to run the service: hosting and database (Railway), transactional email (Resend), payments (Flow, PayPal, Stripe, according to the method you choose) and, only if you use the AI tutor, the AI provider (Anthropic), which receives the question's content and what you write to the tutor; ExamitPro doesn't store those messages. [Pending: list of processors, countries and transfer safeguards, to be confirmed.]
5. Public reviews
A review is public only with your consent and after moderation. You decide whether your name, job title and account picture are shown; your email is never shown. If you declare that you passed the official exam and share a public link, our team uses it only to check it and it isn't published. Withdrawing your consent removes the review from public pages at once.
6. How long we keep it
While your account exists, your study history is kept even when a plan or pass ends, so you don't lose your progress. [Pending: retention periods after an account is deleted and for payment records.]
7. Your choices and rights
You can correct your account details in Settings, withdraw consent for a review or delete it, and ask us to delete your account from Support. [Pending: the rights that apply under the applicable law, how to exercise them and response times.]
8. Changes
[Pending: how changes to this policy are notified and its date of entry into force.]
